I think that Duolingo is a site that
help While strengthening skills, there are three different kinds of questions
that are asked: translation, multiple choice, and listening. Translating to
English is easy. I do however agree that
the practice system should perhaps not be optional, but rather an integral part
of learning a language that can't be skipped. That and conversational practice
as well as listening comprehension are two parts that Duolingo needs to improve
on. Interesting. Regarding the lack of grammar explanations: also I do find the
repetitions extremely useful, since they create a language loop. . At first, I get
the automatism as a base through the many repetitions, and then I find it
easier to grasp the different nuances which can be applied to a translation.
This form of teaching is very progressive as it reversed the classical method
of learning all grammatical rules, words.
It’s amazing to actually look back,
compare, and take on board the advancements that have been made and the
benefits we are reaping as a result the use the technology and the change the
way to learn the new languages more easier.
